The magazine!!

I have taken the magazine home to finish it, just the last few touches.....

I have put about 6 different backgrounds onto the magazine. There are 2 different themes, Winter.... and a Pocket Watch.
These 2 themes were disscussed within the group.
I said we should have a dead tree to show the death of the trailer, Matt and Jo were undeicided and i think it was suggested that we have some sort of a mechanical element which would show a depth into the charatcers and a slight way in which they would work, one actions pushes another etc etc.

The theme which was left out was the Newtons Cradle. As we could not get our hands on one.... This have gitted with the theme of the cogs and a double identity through the different sides of the balls... one pushing another.

Joel -

Magazine Creation

So the magazine creation is running a bit slow. the updates have not been as fast as some may have wanted. This is because the work which must be done to it have changed quite a bit; People changing their minds about certain happenings of what we should be putting on the cover.

We currently have Chace, Gabriel, Dr Williams and Bobby on the front cover. This is because these characters will be quite predominant in the film having a greater influence than the other characters.

Inspirational Posters / Characters / Magazine Covers

Looking into the character of Dr Williams, we found that he can have a more in depth and thought provoking character bios. we looked at the character of Mr Loomis (Donald Pleasence) from Halloween we found that the doctor can play a main role in the story. He influenced us in thinking that we would be able to show the doctor as a main character, he would be able to get to know Chace and Gabriel and find out secrets and possibly stop them.......

Through this the character could be placed on the front cover of the magazine because he is now a main character

We also thought that the character of Bobby Watts(Joel hall) could be put on the front cover because he would befriend Chace when he moves to the school, this would allow him access to both sides of Chace's identity and through the later part of the film be killed.
We thought to put this character on the front cover because he would have a main part in the film, being Chace's friend, and mystery solver.

the poster of 'Hannibal' gave us the idea of having half of Chace's face darkened as the characters on the front cover's face had been darkened on the left hand side. This gives the character a two sided identity, which is the idea we want to show to our audience.
